During my Christmas vacation, I really enjoyed staying at a hotel in the Khao Lak area. One of the best aspects was that there were great amenities nearby, such as a restaurant, tour agency, and a minimart, which made it easy to get what I needed. the hotel was very clean and bug-free, unlike some other places I have stayed in Thailand. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who were able to communicate with me in English and make my stay enjoyable.
I did have some disappointments during my stay. For one, the location was somewhat far from the central area, and I had to rent a motorbike or take a taxi to get there.

Although the area lacks nightlife, there are a few restaurants and a small shop within walking distance. the bed and bathroom are kept clean, but the lack of windows makes the room hot and stuffy, and there might be issues with drainage. the staff can communicate in English and are helpful in arranging transport. the breakfast is simple, but enough to fill up your stomach in the morning.
The low room rate is reflected in the limited amenities and the small room size, so don't expect anything fancy.

We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with coffee and juice. The location was peaceful, away from busy areas, and it was easy to extend our stay.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I appreciated the fact that there was a restaurant, minimart, and tour agency nearby. the staff was friendly and communicative, and the room was clean without any insects. One of the best features of this hotel was its location, which was away from the busier part of town, making it very quiet.

Our extended stay was made easy by the friendly owner, who spoke excellent English. Exciting plans for a new cocktail bar nearby were shared with us during our stay. The hotel was clean and located conveniently near a restaurant, tour agency, minimart, and moto rent. The breakfast, though simple, was enjoyable and the staff were helpful.
